Department Of Obstetrics & Gynaecology
This is self-contained Department with separate O.T., labour room and 50 bedded ward with obstetric ICU. A team of consultants are present 24/7 who are luminaries in their field, ably supported by registrars and housemans.
Special OPD clinics are conducted for High-risk pregnancy, Menopause, Adolescent & Family planning, and Infertility.
Antenatal department is well equipped with modern gadgets for monitoring mother and foetus in most effective way. Labour room has been provided with Cardio tocography machine, conventional and colour Doppler sonography, transport incubator [to transfer the high risk and premature babies to nursery].
Diagnostic facilities provided are Trans vaginal sonography, cytology, colposcopy, Colour Doppler and ovulation studies. In addition HSG, Hysteroscopy, diagnostic laparoscopy and USG guided invasive procedures are also carried out.
This is the only institute in central India having Nd. YAG LASER for laproscopic surgery CO2 LASER for cervical lesions. A new modality being used for menorrhagia patients - an alternative to hysterectomy and medical therapy is Thermachoice uterine Balloon Therapy. This is a minimally invasive technique, done on O.P.D. basis.
