The orthopaedic department
of the CHRC is a multidisciplinary team staffed by six consultant
surgeons, surgical staff, dedicated nurses, physiotherapists and
occupational therapists.
One of the first dedicated Department of Orthopaedics in CentralIndia,
the services offered are regarded as one of the best in the country.
Manned by an efficient staff, many of whom have obtained further
training at some of the finest institutions in the world, the department
has earned itself laurels in both the national and international
arena.
The department provides consultation and treatment for all general
orthopaedic ailments and benefits from a consultant body with established
interests in the sub-specialist areas of upper limb surgery, complex
shoulder surgery, hand surgery, hip replacement (conventional and
resurfacing), revision hip replacement, knee replacement, revision
knee replacement, complex knee ligament reconstruction, surgery
for degenerative conditions of the knee, foot and ankle surgery
and paediatric orthopaedics,deformity correction, Orthopaedics emergency
& trauma surgeries, spine surgeries,
