Surgery
This Department has very many super specialities incorporated within itself in addition to General Surgery. Eight well equipped ultra-modern operation theatres with trained staff is an asset to the hospital.
Centrally piped oxygen , nitrogen and suction, central AC with laminer flow, ventilators, cardiac monitor, and defibrillator are special features.
Onco-vascular and open-heart surgery is done as a matter of routine in addition to kidney transplant, CABG, and plastic surgery for burns patients.
We also have harmonic scalpel to reduce bleeding in major open and laparoscopic surgeries. Complicated surgeries like Phaeochromocytoma and functional endocrine tumors is routinely undertaken here.
Two laser units [Nd YAG & CO 2] are provided for various surgical procedures. A team of 6 well-trained anaesthetists ably supports the dept.This Department is also recognized for DNB degree (2 seats).
