Endo-urology -

Endo urological procedures includes diagnosis and treatment of urinary stones Urinary stones usually arise in the Kidney and cause blockage and infection, which results to various symptoms such as pain, fever, nausea and vomiting etc.

Urinary stones at different locations are treated through Endoscopic methods using fine endoscopes as well as intro corporeal / extra corporeal lithotripters. Following treatment modalities are offered to Urology patients at CH&RC

Urethral Stricture : This is the disease of Urethra and can occur in both, i.e., male as well as females. Urethral strictures are mostly due to Trauma and Infection. Immediate expert opinion of the Urologist should be sought to prevent further complications. However this is advanced field of treatment, Choithram Hospital and Research Center has a long legacy of successfully treating these patients with admirable results. Both endoscopic as well as open surgery options are offered to Stricture patients.
