The Biochemistry section is equipped with fully automated equipments such as Hitachi 704, MTA 500 blood gas analyser, Easy-lyte electrolyte analyser etc.

Recently we have also acquired Daytona Randox access Biochemistry analyzer ABL 555, blood gas analyzer, CDS 200, densitometer for protein and Haemoglobin electrophoresis quantification.

The laboratory participates in the national and international quality control programmes and attains high scores, which speaks of its quality assurance.

The biochemistry also has facility of therapeutic drug analysis and protein and Hb electrophoresis.
