Ultrasonography Department is more than a decade old. It commenced with the acquisition of ATL, MK 600 Doppler Ultrasonography unit which at that time was the only unit of its kind in whole of M.P. Subsequently, Ultramark 4A with Biopsy guide, Hirtachi EUB-310 portable and Hitachi Colour Doppler EUB-565 and Toshboro Shimadzu SDU 350 were added.

In April 2003, the hospital has installed world class State of the Art Philips HDI 5000 scanner - Sono CT with facilities of 3D reconstruction, panoramic imaging and X-rays. Usual problem of small foot print and consequently small field of view has been removed by providing panoramic imaging for best imaging of musculoskeleton system.
